Bridesmaids you know the drill!
Once you accept the job, the dress shopping begins and then completing the look is make-up and hair.
Majority of Brides have 3-4 Bridesmaids and we are all different, hair length, hair colour and face shape. So, finding a look that suits all can be trying but more and more Brides are opting for 3 various looks but similar.
This is where the professionals step in, bridesmaids do not need a trial unless they wish to and the bride can decide once she has chosen her style exactly what Bridesmaids are going to go for. Visuals are a great way to anker what you like and the stylist on the big day will complete the finished look.
If you are helping your sister marry a mister this year or next there are plenty of styles to choose from.
On the 16th of July our Stylist Megan will be leaving to travel (she promised she will be coming back though!) Life is made for adventures and it is with sadness only because you will be missed terribly we say see you later.
Megan joined us fresh off the plane from Oz so we are not surprised she is still bitten by the travel bug. Megan you are an amazing stylist with the soundest nature whoever you meet whilst you travel ‘well’! they will be very lucky.
”Jobs fill your pocket but adventures fill your soul”
We are missing you already and it goes without saying so will all your clients. We know you are going to come home with stories of all the epic stuff you got up to and saw on the way.
Some pics of the great memories we have all had together and here is to many more to come.

Wedding hair plays a major part in your overall look for your big day, it complements the dress. Do your research on stylists that specialise in wedding hair, we are lucky we have 3 stylist that do just that.
There are timelines for your wedding prep at least 4-5mths beforehand begin your hair and make-up search, you may already have an idea of who you want if so, get it locked down (booked)
1-2mths before wedding book your hair trial, schedule your hair colour and also haircut a lot of brides like to have some length before wedding so a trim a few weeks in advance is recommended. prepping the hair months in advance is important, get in salon treatments and a take home deep conditioning mask leading up to wedding we want to make sure your hair is at its best for the big day.
Here are some of the best for deep conditioning at home
Kerastase have a vast range of products that are tailored to different hair types, ask your stylist what they recommend.
This in salon treatment is genius , it instantly transforms the hair fibre . Hair can have multiple and specific expectations specific to different ranges. Dry hair, weakened hair, colour treated hair and thinning hair. The stylist chooses a concentrate according to the hairs primary need and mixes with a booster according to hairs secondary need.
A trial is the perfect opportunity to get creative to find the perfect look. Come with an open mind and some visuals so the stylist can get an idea of what you were thinking, styles can be played around with so do not worry. We always recommend if you are having a headpiece or veil bring these along so we can work with them in the hair.
Some brides like to leave the salon with the style they are happy with to see how it lasts . Every Bride should feel nothing short of happiness for their hair style for the big day and that is what a professional stylist will achieve. Make sure you are 100% happy with the hair style that is agreed if you do not say the stylist will not know. Giving yourself plenty of time when booking a trial as they can take over an hour.
The stylist depending on how many bridesmaids can then work out timing on the wedding morning so the Bride can relax before the walk down the aisle 🙂

Watching the Golden Globes correct me if I am wrong but the biggest trend with hair and Make-up was Glowing, Soft and Pristine. So fresh & Modern, no complicated up-styles this year. I have selected a few of my fave looks from up-styles to killer waves.
Jennifer Lawrence platinum lob was twisted into a textured up-do, just a touch of volume to complete the look. I love the look and she is glowing.
Ah! Our very own Saoirse Ronan (100%) Irish. Saoirse sported a sleek fresh faced look and it is perfect.
Gina Rodriguez’s retro hair looks like a half a pony tail but using product is sleeked into place and glowing.
Rumour that Rosie got engaged were said on the night, this girl is just a knock ur socks off like she just stepped off a plane from St Tropez with these killer waves. If rumours are true we cannot wait to see her hair for the big day..
My Fave by far was Alicia Vikander’s angelic up-do and dress, not everyones cup of tea but she is glowing. She stuns in this gown as we say
