What is it? Typically Bronde combined with Blonde tones all about intermingling two popular hair colours.

If you are transitioning into Winter hair this may be one to think about. extra bonus is low Maintenance which is what us ladies love to hear.

Love for the chestnut

It is looking like we are not too far away from the temp drop, summer has been fab in fairness ‘but’ also bring on the cozy days.

Like we change to our winter wardrobe we also tend to change our hair whether it be style or colour and tone it down & us Irish complexions the chestnut brown whether it be with highlights as we transition is so complimentary to us Irish ladies.

Yes it compliments all eye colours and skin tones.

This is a soft warm colour, they’re are many shades of chestnut Though chestnut is a shade of brown, it still has various shades to try.

Chestnut brown with highlights

Kate always has a tone of chestnut and it compliments her always.

A red tone of chestnut

For your chestnut colour you can add highlights to give an auburn look. Having highlights a shade lighter contributes a high shine

Maybe some sweater weather inspo

Twisted Hair inspiration

From beach twists , twisted half up styles , to wedding inspiration for keeping your hair soft and natural.

For us shorter styled ladies a halo braid twisted around the crown is an easy style to play around with.

This is a great style to twist at the sides and put in a bun.

Twisted half up wedding hair loose curls to finish it “dreamy” and looks effortless.

A bohemian style with sun kissed hair add some height by backcombing the crown before twisting back.

Couture you say

The fashion shows always bring a new level of hair, make-up and style for us to take inspo.

Christian Dior resort went with sleek low ponytail.

Alexandre Vauthier opted for low ponytail

Antonio Grimaldi went punk with low bun and mohawk headpiece

Tony Ward use of opulent hair accessories are dreamy

Christopher Josse brought 90’s waves with a crimp

Ellie Saab natural waves

Zac Posen wet look hairstyle

Valentino resort was my favourite using a silk scarf and large sunglasses oozing glamour

Just some of our faves from the Shows

Heat products, masks, brushes and all that jazz

If you have been using any heated tool on your hair , a heat protectant product is a must! you should be reaching for it and applying before heat. Heated tools will suck the moisture from your hair. would you apply foundation without a base ? Never!! with waves a plenty still a major trend and especially come summer.

KERASTASE NUTRITIVE NECTAR THERMIQUE

This is specially designed for the Sahara or dry locks. It works like a drink of water , put a dollop through mid lengths to ends before heat.

KERASTASE RESISTANCE CIMENT

Provides protection from the moment heat reaches the hair, guilt free leaving a smooth, shiny finish. Research shows users of the Thermique cremes experience 87% less breakage.

LETS TALK HAIR BRUSHES

I don’t know anyone who does not already have a Tangle Teezer in their possession if you do not please get one. They are a saviour to prevent breakage especially when hair is wet. Your hairbrush is the foundation for the health of your hair.

A wide tooth comb is what you want for detangling especially in the shower, comb through your conditioner or mask.

Great for detangling..

Fine tooth comb is great for styling your fringe or to separate and smooth hair. TIP: get one that is matt not shiny,  a comb with a shine will not give you the grip on the hair.

Vented brush creates volume these brushes have holes or slits through the back. A great brush when looking to create volume.

Have a look at the guide above

Valentines Hair

Planning on heading out this Valentines straight from work or planning on hitting the town the weekend and need some hair inspo? Then scroll on down..

Whether it is to meet your friends or a loved one we are more than happy to give you some help with your already glamselves.

This looks more technical than it is I promise.. if you have shorter hair you can add some small bun rings but this once hair is in a middle parting just twist back at the side and you can either pin a few clips to hold or use a gogo 🙂 Yes, I still call them by this name.. to then twist hair into bun at nape of neck depending on hair length.

Low or high ponytail this is great on already curled hair with added texture can pull out loose strands for that just took me two mins look we all love or add in a braid at the side.

Or wear like Kylie, Sleek and high to the sky. This look entails some products to stop fly away strands.

Top knot or high bun is an easy peasy and can be just as versatile as a ponytail. Slap on some red lippy and your good to go.

Barely there braid is an easy and flattering look.

Textured waves give me all the feels.

Sleek blow-dryed hair whether long or short this is fables set with a spritz of hairspray.

NOW GO OUT AND BE CUTE..

I DO, I do to a texture hairdo..

Spring is coming with sun showers and blossoms.

For you Spring/Summer Bride to be’s we are loving the textured styles. We are all about textured hair in general why not for your wedding day.

The movement and Texture is so elegant and adding a hair detail just sets it off and a few loose strands at the front to frame the face.

Whether a class chignon, add some texture.

A low textured style with some twists to add movement and another beautiful detail to the side that could be worn after you remove the veil.

If you choose a low back wedding dress this just finishes it off beautifully.

I love this style full of movement and a touch of boho with texture that shows off her lights.

I hope this gives any brides to be some inspo for their wedding day, just think texture, movement, with beautiful details and all you have left is to say is

I DO ….

Show your Face..

What it is about a fringe? and what is it about a Micro-fringe?

From the hairstyles rocking on the red carpet I smell a trend for 2018 coming back our way.. Adds eternally cool to your hair look, it may be something to look out for.

Emma Watson has just debuted her micro fringe on her IG and it is nothing short of Dotey.

Feathery, choppy, this is bang on trend and only for the brave. That being said there is always a fringe that suits every face shape.

This look will take a bit of maintenance , bear this in mind that if your a get up and go person in the morning this may not be for you but there is a few styles you can opt for depending on face shape.

The micro fringe is a bold of the fringe fam ! So always start longer if you go straight to the short cut there is no going back! You can always go shorter once your stylist has finished styling your hair.
